Amoraq gave a start and whirled when Chumanti landed behind her. As soon as Chumanti landed Amoraq pounced on her and nocked her off her feet. She started getting her blood pumping and forgot that it was her mentor she was on. She started snapping close to her mentors muzzle then bared her teeth and let out a menasing snarl. Then she turned jumped off Chumanti and howled a feirce howl. After she was done she looked at Chumanti like a scared pup and ran as fast as she could to her den whimpering with her tail tucked between her legs.

Chumanti was quite confused. Amaroq had attack, which was fine, they were practicing, than run off to her den. It all has happened so fast, it seemed like a whirl. She trudged on thorught the snow, towards camp.

When Chumanti got to Amoraq's den Amoraq was huddling in the corner. She looked at Chumanti with scared eyes. All of a sudden Amoraq's eyes clouded over for a minute. She had a flash back.
(flash back)
Deafening roars thundered through the forest. " Run Amoraq run!!" Amoraq's mother shouted Amoraq started to run but looked back and saw her mother and father slashed open by the sick bears. She ran for a few minutes into the woods. When the roars stoped Amoraq ran back looking for the other wolves, but all she found was blood. Amoraq howled the best howl she could then ran into the woods again.
(end of flash back)
The cloudy look left Amoraq's eyes but she stayed huddled in the corner.

" I just don't feel good my head hurts. I keep having flash backs and...........I just feel all out of sorts." Amoraq looked outside and saw that the snow was coming down slowly. She looked at Chumanti then said " I'll be right back." With that Amoraq ran through the snow into the woods and through up. She got up let out a long sad howl that could be heard for miles. Amoraq ran into the woods and only stopped when she got hungry. She made sure she left a trail that was easy to follow in case Chumanti wanted her. She layed down and drifted off into a restless sleep.

Chu,anti was worried by her friend's strife. She licked up some of the snow, and was satisfyed by the extremly cool water that trickled down her throat. She curled around herself, nose in her tail, thinking. She eased into sleep.

Amoraq got up and walked out of the forest she licked up some snow and walked over to Chumanti. She nuzzled her and said "I am going to the caribou if you need me." Amoraq trotted to the caribou and ate her fill then laid down and rested her head on her paws and dozed.

Cheveyo trotted forward, dargging an elk thorugh the heavy snow. He dragged it up next to the battered remnants of skin, hair and several bones that had been the Caribou. "Who are you?" He growled, realizing Amaroq was sniffing around the carcass. He crouched down low, teeth bared, a snarl rippling from his throat.

Chumanti barreled into the clearing yipping joyously. She pressed her muzzle to her mate's, and gave him many licks. "Cheveyo, that is Amaroq, a new pack member. She looked at the elk, happy for fresh meat. The caribou carcass was worthy only for carion eaters. "We'll have to drag it out of the clearing." She said, looking ath them both.

Cheveyo bowd his head, "I'm sorry for acting so... Hostile toward you, Amroq. I haven't been here in such a long time. I went out hunting, following the herds, and was trapped in a storm. I should have stayed put, but I tought I knewthe way, and I was lost further." He bowed his head. "I'm very glad to be home." He fixed his jaws on the caribou, locking eyes with Chumanti, and began to drag the carcass.

Chumanti also began to drag, pullin the carcass throught the snow, toward a ditch where they threw rotten prey. It was far from camp, and far from anything really. They swung the remainer of it into the shallow pit, and raced back to camp.

Amoraq jumped as the wolf spoke to her. She watched the two wolves and smiled. She was glad to have more wolves around. She stood and stretched. Amoraq dipped her head to show a sign of respect to her leaders. Amoraq scratched her ear and shook her head.

Chumanti grinned a wolf'sgrin, her black lips pulled back to show her teeth. She gave Amaroq a lick on the ear, "This shank of elk won't last us long. Let's go hunt." Energy coursed through her limbs and she trotted forward a bit, rearing to go.

Amoraq smiled as Chumanti licked her. She licked her leader back. " Ok lets go." She loved hunting. Amoraq started to trot away. She looked back only to make sure that Chumanti and Cheveyo were following.
