Cheveyo wandered into the mist, wondering how far away he was from his destination. The cold snow touching his paws. Then, a smell tickled his nose, "Dinner" he thought. He started to lurk upon the shadows. As he searched for his prey he lunged down into a catching position. He pounced, catching a rabbit.

Heero sniffed the air, surprised by the scent of water that seemed to waft in it. It was unusual to him to smell water in such abundance. He ran over towards the scent, stopping at a small embankment where the river was. He stared at it for a moment, before running over to drink some. His previous desert home never had such lavish natural enjoyments. The most water he had even had in the last moon phase was what he had from chewing on dug out desert plant roots. After drinking for a few bit, he lifted his head up and licked his lips. "I could get used to this."

Ateria laughed at nothing as she ran through the peaceful forest. A few birds twittered ahead, and Ateria ran faster, trying to catch one. Everytime she got near one, however, they flew higher. It was fun though, trying to predict their next move so that she could catch at least one. A log lay in her path and an idea slowly game to her. With a grin, she bounded forwards and used the log to jump higher at the birds. She managed to swipe one of them with her claws before falling to the ground, landing with an "Oof" sound. Shaking her head slightly she watched the birds fly away, knowing that the game was ended for now.
She turned around then, walking silently through the forest. The forest wasn't silent though, and she could hear the leaves as the wind blew through the forest. Crickets were chirping, and birds were whistling. Ateria quicked her pace slightly, having caught her breath from the chase. Soon, she arrived at her destination. Cool blue water was infront of her, stopping before the edge as if held back by an unknown force. A waterfall was there, letting its water never stop its flow. Leaning her head down, she took a few laps of the water, relishing its cool, crisp taste.
After having her fill of the water, Ateria looked up at the black sky. Silvery stars were shining down, giving the forest a gentle light, yet not as bright as the sun. Looking around and seeing a rock, she padded over to it. Her back legs bent as she jumped onto it, landing gently. As she glanced at the water, she saw the stars and the moon reflecting in it, and smiled.

Kaida let out an exasperated sigh. Where am I? she thought to herself. Her small paws didn't make a sound a she trudged thought the thick layer of snow. Her amber orbs scanned the land for any signs of life. Something moved and she stalked toward the bundle of fur that was an Arctic hare. When she was within striking distance she pounced on it. It let out a faint squeak before she delivered a swift blow to its neck. She settled down behind some bushes to eat her meal.

Talutah sniffed the frosty air.Unfortunatly, her red coat stood out among the dead trees and white hills. She looked around for any sign of life.Sniffing the air once more,Talutah raced up a small hill and slid in a bee line to the bottom and back on level ground. Her amber eyes gazed upon the fields of snow, glimmering like a blanket of tiny stars. There was no one in sight. She continued her frolicking, after all,who knew what fate had in store for her.She might as well count her blessings now, right?

''Walk, just keep walking... I must go on. There should be a stream near by. I should have come across it by now!'' Who is this wolf? This scrap of fur? Where did she come from? Where is she headed? Why is she alone??? As she walks along she talks to herself. '' I was a fool. Now look at me covered in mud from ears to the tip of my tail. I must hunt, and wash.'' So she sat down and licked herself cleanish... when she was done she just sat there. After awhile she scented a mouse. Under the bushes over there! So she got up with unexpected grace and putting all thoughts aside she crept forward. '' Good I'm down wind of it.'' She thought. She was a tail away when the mouse sat up twitching it's ears. So she sprang. She tossed it up in the air, cot it and tossed to the ground. It lay there dead. After she feasted she started talking again. '' Get up Aivas you have to keep moving. We must find that river before morning.''

Amoraq sniffed the are she smelt fresh wolf tracks. She crept forward cautiously before she knew what happened she was on her back pinned to the ground. Her eyes were open in fear. On top of her was a muscular lone wolf the wolf was about twice her size. The other wolf wad lost one of his eyes where it was supposed to be there was a scar made by what seemed like another wolf's canine. Before the other wolf knew what hit him Amoraq had flipped over and pinned the other wolf to the ground giving him a warning bight in the shoulder. The loner ran off into the forest with his tail tucked in between his legs.

Bramble strolled around the quiet forest. Rabbits hopped around but Bramble was not trying to catch one. She wanted freedom, which she was having now. The freedom of runnning around in the forest was great for her. She wanted to play and meet birds. A few birds sang and Bramble jumped up and down, trying to see them. She turned around and she saw the birds. Bramble lay down as the song the birds were singing amused her. Slowly she fell asleep, smiling happily.

[[OOC// No situation provided? Alrighty then, I'll go crazy XD not really though.]]
The winter night was surpisingly warm for mid-winter and the forest was thriving. Small mammals braved the snow to retrive food from hidden stores as owls glided overhead, just waiting for one to move too far from it's home. Deer were in the feild, pawing through the nearly foot-deep snow to find any good berries and nuts the squirrels may have missed in the fall.
Among the trees, skirting the feilds where deer watched warily, stomping their hooves on he ground, a figure seemed to glide among the shadows. A patch on moonlight on the forest floor revealed the night-dweller as a wolf nearly as dark as the shadows themselves. She was darker than usual in the winter, nearly black, whereas her summer coat was a more of a dark grey. Her pale yellow eyes glowed gently until she had left the patch of light.
Amaya was new to the area. At 4 years old, she figured it was ime to leave her too-large family pack to try and make her own way. Pausing briefly she sniffed the air. There were others of her kind, but they were miles away. She wasn't qute sure wether she wished to join them, or to take a land, somewhere, for her own and create her own pack.
Yawning, she decided the moonlit patch she had just crossed would be a good place to stay for the night after a long day of traveling. Retracing her trail, she easily relocated the small clearing and curled up at the edges of the moonlight, blending into the darkness, a shadow among shadows. She would make her decision with the morning.
