Kaida had wandered thought the white forest for what seemed like forever but was only three days. The white wolfess had stumbled upon a clearing and it had a few caves. There was a clearing off of the side that expecting she-wolves could dig dens for their pups. "This would be the perfect place to live," she thought to herself.

Chumanti's pelt was wet with snow, though she stayed warm enough. She had been trying to find the other wolves here. She trudged on through snow and ice, and shook once she got to a clearing. "Hello? Is anyone here?"

"Hello and welcome to the Ice Pack Camp. I am Kaida Frostpelt, Alphess here," she said were she heard someone. "So far I am the only one here." She stepped forward to look at the newcomer.

Chumanti nodded her head. "It is good to seethe packs are beginning to rebuild. I am Chumanti, Alphess of the Silver Moon Pack. I've een having dreams.." She stopped for a momnet, as if trying to find the right words. She then spoke again, "Of wolves coming back here, and I am glad that at least one other pack is here." She smiled a wolfish grin, and bowed her head, "Please forgive my briefness here, but I must check the other two territories. Hopefully, they're both off to a good start." She walked from the place, then began to trot off, throught the thick snow, angling herself toward a place in the distance.

Kaida looked up at the night sky. It had been a fortnight since the other Alphess had been here, and the white wolfess had sensed no one else on her territory. Suddenly a strong urge overwhelmed her. She let out a low mournful howl. I suppose I should go hunt just in case anyone else should show up. she thought to herself. She sniffed the air around her, and she smelt a hare close by. She saw a flash of movement as the hare almost broke its cover. She slowly crept toward it and pounced on it when she got close enough. She went to her den to store the meal away.

Rowan trudge through the snow, keeping hus head low, trying not to be blinded by the snow the stinging wind was picking up. He could feel ice forming on the hair between his pads. He had heard a howl, but something told him it wasn't the wind. He shook himself, stopping to nip at the graules of ice between his pads.

Kaida's nose twitched in the cold. There was a scent in the air and it wasn't the snow storm moving up from the southern part of the territory. She started to move in the direction of the scent. She sped up when she heard some sort of movement in the distance. She was approaching the heart of the storm when she saw some movement. "Hello? Is any one there?"

Rowan's head snapped up, and he quickly assumed a defensive position, "Hello?" He tried to keep his voice level, but it shook slighty.

Rowan relaxed slightly, not entirely, and replied, "My Name is Rowan. I'm a drifter, I follow the herds..." He stopped, wondering why he ws here. No many herds camr to the Tundra in winter, but he had been draw here. "I was exploring, and decided on coming to the tundra."
